Jonathon Boulet

tradehook’s won tickets to go see Tame Impala the other week at Waves in Wollongong. Little did we know that the standout performance of the night would come from Tame Impala’s support band Jonathon Boulet. You probably have heard their song “A Community Service Announcement” getting played all over the triple j airwaves recently, so for something different I’m bringing you the song they opened with on the night “Ones Who Fly Two Who Die” . I’m over waiting for people to reply, so here is “A Community Service Announcement” instead (still great).

UPDATE: since i drafted this post they got signed to Modular, nice!
Buy the album on Amazon.

Next up is something to get excited about.

Parklife has just come and gone so you may have heard of a little comp on Triple J to get your band’s foot in the gates of Parklife and onto the stage. Winners of the Sydney Parklife show were a five piece Indie/Electronic band called Megastick Fanfare who have been kind enough to send us their freshly mixed track “Brain Tooth”.

Catch them at Oxford Art Factory for a free gig on the 22nd October or for a Halloween bash at the Annandale on the 31st. wOOt.
