Polo Club w/ Urthboy + Horrorshow @ UOW Unibar – 29th Oct

I thought i had Australian Hip Hop figured out. Lay down a beat, sample an old well known pop track and rhyme about your favourite everyday hardships.

Polo Club take your previous assumptions about Aussie Hip Hop, lights them on fire, and dance around them like wild men. They combine their love of hitting 808’s, vocoders and experimental synths to deliver tracks that have the same head turning ability as a sizzling dish at a Chinese Restaurant.

You may have caught them at Parklife last year, Good Vibrations this year or as a support act for Rodney P & Skitz, The Herd, Muph & Pluontic and Jehst to name a few.
Now supporting Urthboy and Horrorshow on the Spitshine tour around the country, its going to be quite a treat to host them down in the ‘Gong.
